Good Father's Day Gift

I got a copy used (great condition) from Stone Ridge Book Company for my dad who was one of Dr.Epstein's students who helped with research (M. Bahraini). Even as a freshman Computer Science student I could understand the first 20 or so pages because of how Dr. Epstein systematically breaks things down. In the first 20 pages Dr. Epstein discusses how binary is not as efficient as ternary and shows all the math necessary to prove this- kind of an eye opener. Although this book was written about 20 years ago, I think it is more relevant now than ever because Moore's Law has reached its end.
